It's just like riding a bike.

We had our first show in 4 weeks yesterday.  I have to say, it was a little nerve racking.  I wasn't sure if my chops would be ready to go and I kept second guessing myself.  I know this part so well and couldn't believe that I was actually double checking that I was counting the right number of rests or making sure I had my mutes all in order.  However, after about 30 minutes I think we all settled in.  Maybe not back to our normal groove but we're getting there.  We've now completed show 2 and I'd say by Friday evening, we'll be back to where we left it.

In the meantime, we've been out exploring Baltimore and I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised.

This is quite possibly the coolest Barnes and Noble I've ever been to. It has the best location right on the inner harbor and check out this building.  It was an old power plant that was converted into stores and offices.

The Hippodrome is the theater we're at this week.  It's maybe not in the best part of Baltimore, but it definitely has a lot of charm and a huge backstage area.  We've got the biggest dressing room we've ever had.

These photos are from our visit to the National Aquarium.  This place was fantastic.  And huge!  Besides viewing the exhibits we also took in a pretty cool dolphin show.

Steven's favorite fish. super grumpy.

That's Steven getting eaten by a large fish.

Another grumpy fish.

My fav.

This is in the rainforest section of the aquarium.  I have to say as cool as it was, I kept bragging up the Henry Doorly Zoo to Steven.  We will have to put that on our list for the next Nebraska trip.

This is a picture of the Inner Harbor.  We've had some great weather and fingers crossed it will continue the rest of the week.
